电动偏振控制器是控制单模光纤爆发种种偏振态的一种有用的工具,通过驱动器提供 4 路直流电压,电压在+/-5V 交替转变,用来动态的控制单模光纤的偏振态.5V 的直流电压提供应偏振控制器内部的光纤挤压装置,该装置会对光纤爆发凌驾 25N 的应力,足可以使偏振态在 360 度的规模内转变.电动偏振控制器内部的3个光纤挤压装置划分和相邻的光纤挤压装置有 45 度角的误差
